Quinn Rodenkirchen is an illustrator and animator from Kentucky. They are currently attending Kentucky College of Art and Design at Spalding University for a BFA in digital media. Their main interest is using elements of science fiction to draw attention to issues and people that are often overlooked.

Quinn makes mainly sequential art using digital media. They are interested in finding ways to push the software they use in new ways and finding unique ways to tell a story. Their main mediums are animation, comics, and music. However, they also have an interest in photography.

While they are interested in many topics, most of their work focuses on using monsters and robots to convey what it is like to deviate from the expected norm. There are many similarities that can be drawn between the treatment of monsters and robots in fiction, and the treatment of marginalized groups in society. Coming from the perspective of a queer, disabled person, they hope to show that maybe some “monsters” aren’t so bad after all.
